Jonathan Gilthorpe, Associate Professor in Experimental Neuroscience. His research career of 25 years has encompassed virology, embryology, neurobiology and neuroscience through which he has developed a deep understanding of molecular and cell biology.
Gilthorpe’s current research focuses on the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. He has been a prominent voice in Sweden through his involvement in the Doctor’s Call – Läkaruppropet.

With his extensive medical knowledge, Jonathan will professionally co-lead the conference and the panel debates.
