Jonathan Gilthorpe PhD is an Associate Professor in Experimental Neuroscience. His research career of 25 years has encompassed virology, embryology, neurobiology and neuroscience through which he has developed a deep understanding of molecular and cell biology. His research now focusses on the molecular mechanisms of neurodegenerative diseases. He lives and works in Sweden and has been a member of Läkaruppropet since 2021.
